1 Purple Heron (Seen by CG circa 14:34 and believed to have landed. After much heavy rain then seen to get up from around Big Pool and fly south over the main reedbed, landing east of Bishops Hide..) ,

6 Great White Egret (Maximum of six seen at same time (3 on Brackish and 3 on Big Pool). However 9 were recorded on the reserve later in the morning.) ,

1 Booted Eagle (Fantastic find by GB and IE at KWM with bird seen to land on fallow field NW of Kelling School. Then up and soaring for 20 plus minutes over Muckleburgh and north end of Kelling before drifting off SE.) ,

4 Great White Egret (Two on Billy's Wash joined by another two late morning) ,

9 Mediterranean Gull (Single adult with 8 second year birds west) ,

4 Little Ringed Plover (two North Scrape, 2 Pats) ,

1 Goldcrest (Walsey Hills) ,

8 Cetti's Warbler (singing across reserve) ,

1 Pochard (Female on Snipes but no sign of duckling) ,

3 Whitethroat (Territories between VC and East Bank) ,
