Perfect June day.

1 Cuckoo (Flew onto the top of a dead beech on Anterton Hill, singing heartily, but immediately mobbed by two Jackdaws & chased off south over the village. ( Pristine bird, but no time to even raise the camera!)) ,

2 Egyptian Goose (off E Bank) ,

2 Little Grebe (pr + 2 chicks Don's) ,

1 Grey Heron ,

2 Little Egret ,

2 Spoonbill (flew into Arnold's) ,

19 Avocet (plus 4 chicks) ,

8 Oystercatcher ,

8 Redshank ,

1 Curlew (Arnold's) ,

1 Cuckoo (flew W behind Walsey & N Foreland, calling, at c.07:00 ) ,

1 Marsh Harrier ,

1 Buzzard (N Foreland) ,

5 Cormorant (Arnold's) ,

1 Little Tern (Brackish) ,

1 Sandwich Tern (Arnold's) ,
