Cold, overcast then rain with strong SW wind.

29 Canada Goose (Over reserve) ,

1 Chinese Water Deer (Strolled out of the reedbed and then non-chalently over Whitwell Scrape.) ,

3 Spoonbill (At least two adults - one a parent of the lone tspoon and another out of NF. Tspoon very demanding and we watched, thoroughly entertained as it begged from the adult before the latter eventually gave up and fed the tspoon. ) ,

3 Great White Egret (At least three mobile over the reedbeds with one landing not far from Daukes Hide.) ,

3 Little Egret (Active around the Central Hides with one bird sporting quite buff plumage tones) ,

5 Cattle Egret (With cattle on Bull Marsh and in flight) ,

1 Whimbrel (West calling) ,

5 Ringed Plover (Tundra) (Brought down by the rain and not really welcomed by the resident LRPs) ,

6 Little Ringed Plover (Pats and Simmonds) ,

1 Sanderling (Pats) ,

2 Grey Heron (In flight) ,

Warm, keen wind from SW reducing through the morning. Hazy later and getting humid.

1 Quail (Singing intermittently in field just east of the VC. Had stopped just before 08:00.) ,

40 Mediterranean Gull (Flocks of 10 and 14 early on and then a trickle throughout the morning. All west.) ,

1 Bearded Tit (Path to Bishops Hide.) ,

7 Cetti's Warbler (Singing - skirts and East Bank.) ,

c.21 Sedge Warbler (Cley Beach road, Skirts and East bank. ) ,

7 Spoonbill (2 adults, 1 2CY and 3 tspoons on Simmonds and an adult in to wash up and collect nesting material and then off east.) ,
