This area of gorse, mixed scrub and woodland south of the A149 can be good for migrants in spring and autumn. The NOA Watchpoint and public footpath through the pines give good views over the marshes and there are feeders which are good for common woodland species in winter.
The public footpath at the base of the hill is good for migrants in spring and autumn.
