HOW TO ATTACH MULTIPLE PHOTOS TO A SIGHTING

You can enter multiple photos against a sighting/record but not on the initial Add Sightings page.

To do this;

1.  Enter your sightings as normal on the Add a Sighting page.

To attach a single photo click on the ‘Choose File’ button then find and link the photo, the file name will show alongside the Choose File button

Repeat this for any other species that you have a photos for.

Then SUBMIT.

2. To add a second photo to the same species/row

You now need to go to the My Sightings page

Press the Edit button on the relevant visit.

Here you can add or delete rows and change any details on them and add or remove photos from a row.

You will see all your species again with any photos you have already attached signified by a green camera with an ‘x’ against it.  Clicking on one of these camera symbols will launch the photo in a new tab.

Clicking on the ‘x’ will delete the photo.  (Note: you do not get a confirm message when you do this but it is not actually deleted until you click on Update so, if you have done it by mistake, closing the window will cancel the delete.)

If you want to add a photo to a row which doesn’t have one or add an additional photo, click the ‘Choose File’ button then find and link the photo.  Here the file name will not be displayed on the screen but can be seen by hovering over the Choose File box.

Then UPDATE

3. To add another photo to the same row

repeat section 2 above.

Repeat this for each photo remembering to UPDATE between each one.
