A walk with the North Norfolk Local Group of the NWT
Honorary Warden Francis Farrow will lead a walk over Beeston and Sheringham Common, famous for its rich flora and invertebrate fauna. Please note that some of the paths can be over rough or wet ground, so suitable sturdy footwear is essential.
Because of the sensitive nature of the habitat we need to limit numbers. To reserve a place please email northnorfolk@norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk
We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs on this walk.

Naturalist and conservationist Richard Porter will lead a walk along the shingle bank towards Blakeney Point, to look for the characteristic plants of the shore and saltmarsh, and butterflies. We will also take the opportunity to look at the nesting birds and the conservation efforts to protect them.
Because of the sensitive nature of the habitat we need to limit numbers. We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs on this walk.
To reserve a place please email northnorfolk@norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk.
Meet at Cley Beach car-park (TG047604, NR25 7RY, W3W acquaint.workouts.whirlpool). Parking is free to NWT members (but you need to display your NWT parking permit), otherwise a parking fee of £3 per half day applies.
The walk will be 3 miles in length walking on shingle. Stout shoes are essential!
