Some however taking a leisurely spin westwards allowing prolonged views. 40 is my total but more than 50 seen through the day by others eg Graham Fellows, who deserves the seawatcher of the year award!), 15 Grey Plover (at least flew west on seawatch), 1 Red-necked Phalarope (Not seen by me - just missed as it vacated the Serpentine, but seen later by Andy Johnson back on Serpentine along with a Grey Phalarope), 3 Grey Phalarope (In addition to those passing west - one found by Guy Bailey at Kelling WM and showing well. Another on the Serpentine and yet another on Brackish Pool at Cley late PM), Grey Phalarope (David Griffiths) (83908 bytes) Grey Phalarope (David Griffiths) (63706 bytes) 3 Grey Phalarope (West along beach - blink and they're gone in the surf. Insane, manic, euphoric, beyond thigh rubbing, once it sank in. (RM, SC, PC). Privilege to be involved with the critique with other experienced Seawatch gurus, RM, MAG, AC. What an experience. Mind blowing. Still buzzing. Multiple observers, several occurrences later as it must have been dallying around and then later blew back through East.
