500 Pink-footed Goose (Many hundreds over east calling , with half turning back to the coast), 6 White-fronted Goose (Down to just 6), 320 Greylag Goose (About 320 in two separate groups ), 1 Wigeon (One male browsing ( the first here this winter )), 1 Peregrine Falcon ( One adult , probably a male ( relatively small ) - I was alerted by half a dozen Moorhens scattering and then a Peregrine over low , repeatedly diving and zig-zagging over the lake ; it then went to sit on a branch of an Alder , watching all around and preening in the sunshine . ) [Richard Price]
