Evening Indoor Meetings

The Club holds monthly indoor meetings during the winter months. They are typically illustrated talks featuring a prominent local or national speaker followed by a discussion.  Non-members are welcome.

All meetings start at 7.30pm and take place at Cley Village Hall (NR25 7RJ) which is on Fairstead in Cley. If you don't know where it is click here for a map.   There is a large car-park. Please enter the Hall through the main entrance, the Social Club, where most meetings are held, is then through the main hall.

Admission is £1 per person (except where stated otherwise) and all members and non-members are welcome.

David Horsley writes - “I have always loved wildlife and photography and I was unbelievably lucky to get a

job teaching biology at Gresham's in 1976 which allowed me to indulge these interests to the full. The rest is
history! I like to try and tell a story in my talks and big thanks go to Roger Tidman for his part in this one

Mike Toms - Head of Communications for the BTO after being Head of the Garden Ecology team for more
than a decade. Author of the Collins New Naturalist book of the same title as well as a number of other
books including 'Flight Lines' and 'Garden Birds and Wildlife’.

Richard Webb - moved to Norfolk in 2017 having retired early from the financial services industry. He leads
mammal watching tours for Wildwings and has seen more than 1,000 species of mammal including 33 of
the 41 cats in the wild. He is also writing a field guide to the mammals of South America for Princeton
University Press.
