This is a personal viewpoint but I have been very concerned by an article sent to me last week concerning the legal slaughter of 6000 Eurasian Curlews in France. If you have not heard of this links to relevant articles follow. This ruling violates so many directives itís just unbelievable. The following links do not make happy reading!

How can we preach to the French when here it is legal to shoot Black Grouse, Pintail, Shoveler, Pochard, Goldeneye, Golden Plover, Woodcock, Snipe and so many more, and the RSPB won't take a stand against it? It should all be banned. It belongs in the 19thC, not the 21stC.
