While sitting in our garden in Sharrington today we had a Hummingbird Hawk Moth which favoured our garden for about five minutes before flying off. This appears to be a very early record. We’ve had a lot of southerly winds recently but I’ve been told that some have overwintered in recent years.I know we are just outside the square but thought I’d give a heads up as to what you might be able to encounter.
Good to know that there are so many things still to discover even when you can’t travel very far! Stay safe everyone!
